Inside ~ Out is how Love flows.
Everything resides within us as consciousness. When we turn our attention within and focus on our inner landscape, we meet a vast world of light and contact the intelligence that travels on that light. Light consistently informs us and wakes us up to our true nature.
Spiritual practices serve to activate this light structure. They open us to expanded awareness and nudge the edges of our identity. The contractions of our mental body unwind, moving us beyond our limited perception. Emotional wounding that is bound in the subtle body releases. We come face to face with the unseen and unconscious aspects of our self.
As the spiritual fire intensifies, the physical body is purified of toxins. Our energy becomes more refined and we experience our heart as the center of gravity.
When we dive in to our spiritual nature, discipline comes to the forefront in our everyday life. This is not the discipline that conjures up old pictures of grueling effort, parental force, rigid schedules and often the ensuing rebellion and disappointment. Yet, these practices invoke the true meaning of discipline—to “become a disciple”.
Spiritual practice is about being a disciple, devoted to removing the barriers to Love. Our self-effort is the application that draws Grace ~ the ultimate transformer, the force that reorganizes us from the inside out.
Meditation, Yoga, Chanting, Mantra, Contemplation, Breath, Prayer and Selfless Service are a few of the practices that awaken our true nature.
